Pray to the Gods of Honey // After lots of design and paint work, The Hive’s second location is finally open. I painted a total of 6 areas which include tributes to Albrecht Durer (who first drew the ‘Study of the Hands of an Apostle’ in 1508, and to Okusai, who created the woodblock print ‘The Wave’ in 1829.

The superfood cafe is located at the ground floor of AMLI, a luxury apartment complex in Marina Del Rey.

For Rose Collective in Venice Beach.

A little tribute to the Belgian surrealist Magritte’s painting ‘The Treachery of Images.’ Painted in 1929, ‘Ceci n’est pas une pipe’ translates to ‘this is not a pipe,’ causing much confusion in the viewer.  Magritte’s point was that it was not a pipe, it was a PAINTING of a pipe, and that you definitely should not light it and smoke it. What a rascal.

Painted on Rose Ave. in Venice for @rosecollective_venice // #magritte #cecinestpasunepipe #cannabiscommunity #cannabisculture #dispensary #venicebeach

There’s beauty all around if you have the eyes to see it.
Fissures and flaws. Surface cracks and deep scars. Tangible pangs: Our world is riddled with them. It hints at breaking, splitting, snapping, but this giant rock never caves to its torment. This is an homage to our home and the infinite stone it’s yielded us. Zenith (Matthias Schoenaerts) photographed these so-called defects all over the world, then magnified and painted them somewhere else on the planet. This is a form of gratitude, announcing there’s glory in imperfection, triumph in pain and echoed connections everywhere.

Collab with my brother from another Zenith.

For Circus Cafe at La Madeleine in Brussels, Belgium (Burgundy carpet still needs to be installed) // Circus Cafe will be Belgium’s first Comedy Club & School presented by comedian and actress @nawell_madani . Opening soon! // 8 murals and smaller details on another 8 walls were painted in the staircase leading people in and out of the theater. Nawell wanted to create an atmosphere that’s positive and happy as well as inspirational, and I think we made it happen! #selfiecentral // art direction by @provokeagency
